TA DAA! Today the first bud on a seedling I am growing out for a friend opened. This is a second year seedling that didn't not bloom for her last year and she sent me a couple cuttings to see if they would bloom for me. The cross was labeled Unknown X Pink Peach. I don't know who the hybridizer was - (if you are out there - please raise your hand) because the person my friend told me gave her the cuttings does not remember. This is the bloom as it it looked at 7:30 this morning. Now these cuttings were about the most vigorous of any I grew. Grew faster and looked better than any of the others despite repeated attacks during the winter from spider mites. Once I planted these outside in May they grew very fast.
