Even though I live in Wisconsin I was still surprised when I placed an order and received it the next day - Excellent Service. This is only the beginning of my second year with St. Clare Seeds, but so for I'm satisfied.

I recently ordered some seeds from St. Clair Heirloom Seeds and they arrived in a timely manner. I was happy to receive a complimentary pack of seeds as well. Their prices are good and they don't sell genetically modified seeds. I would definitely do business with them again.

When I received my packets of seeds in the mail I could tell they take a lot of pride in their business because of the custom made packaging. I was looking to identify some winter squashes that I purchased to try. I wanted to know how to cook them. But, before I did that I need to be sure what they were (kind of redundant, huh?). Anyway, I stumbled upon St. Clare's site and found that they not only carried Non-GMO seeds, but also had them reasonably priced with a nominal shipping charge.

My seeds arrived in the timeframe promised, I receive a free pack of seeds (of another squash that I was undecided about getting, yeah!!), and a small sample of their worm castings!!

I am pleased and will be utilizing them again.

100% germination so far! Very nice company to deal with. We are just getting back into vegetable gardening and rediscovering the thrill of plants popping out of the ground. Since we are doing small raised beds, I planted the peas, beans, and spinach seeds one at a time in the rows. Not a bare spot in the row! We look forward to the harvest!

I found this site through Dave's Garden. I was looking for non-GMO, Heirloom seeds. I ordered lettuce, peas, tomato and carrot seeds. The order arrived very quickly. I am a vegetable growing newcomer, and I look forward to seeing how the seeds develop, both indoors and from direct planting.

St Clare Heirloom Seed had exactly what I was looking for and more. Black Aztec and Blue Hopi seeds are not easy to find even on heirloom/open-pollinated sites. St. Clare had both and reasonably priced, despite the rarity of these varieties.
The shipping price is also great- currently only $3 no matter what you order.
The shipping was incredibly fast. I ordered from two other seed companies the day I placed the order at St Clare's. I'm still waiting on the other companies.
The website also has quotes on every page, making shopping for seeds even more enjoyable.
The shopping cart also, properly takes you back to the page you were on by pressing "Continue Shopping". Two other companies' carts take you back to the home page, leading to much frustration when placing a large order.
Overall, St Clare's has been the best experience in seed shopping. I cannot wait to order a few of their interesting books, especially the one entitled, "Homegrown Whole Grains".
