I have used the services of this company many times.
The place is filled with exotic plants and flowers. The owner is very friendly and knowledgable. He really likes gardening and takes the time to explain how to care for flowers to me. He even tends a small garden in the back of the place which I find very interesting and is what I would really like to have at my place if I have the time . I really like sweet smelling flower plants, which I found many selections there. There are garden plants , plants for the living room, plants which yield edible fruits. You can even ask the owner to order tropical plants if you cannot find them in this place.

I have had nothing but great experiances with this company going back three years now. I purchased several plants, including a few beautifully cut bonsei shrubs and have had the joy and pleasure of enjoying them to this day. Buy with trust and confidance, Flora Exotica has a personal touch you just can't find in today's big business atmosphere.

If one is looking for good species of all those plants well-versed in Sino-Viet culture, one cannot go wrong at Flora Exotica. From absolutely-must for a classic Oriental garden such as flowering quinces (both the japonica - red - specie and the Vietnam-native - yellow - specie), bamboos, gingko biloba and Japanese maples, to the many different exotic fruit trees: guava that can stand Quebec winter, milk apple (Chrysophyllum cainito) and to something called Java apple (Syzygium samarangense) that brings me back to my childhood of hanging on the branch of such tree and enjoying its refreshingly juicy fruits - for hours on end. That's how many fruits that a happy Syzygium can bear. For a more spiritual mind, there always are many bonsai-ready ficuses, particularly the Banyan ficus, one well-known specie of which is commonly known as the Bohdee tree under which the Buddha sat. Banyans, as we know, can grow into gigantic tree in nature - I know since we had one in the garden of my grandparents in Saigon of the '50s. Equally majestic are the poincianas, or flame tree (Delonix regia) whose flaming canopies adorned the many boulevards around my childhood school during the long summer months. Guess what, one can find it at Flora Exotica as well. And let's not forget the heady aroma of frangipani (Plumeria obtusa) whose beautiful blooms have adorned the necks of many brown-skinned island beauties on the silverscreen. Just imagine a healthy specie growing right outside your bedroom's window is currently in full bloom. Don't climb it though, its branches are notoriously brittle.

And there are more at Flora Exotica - miniature lotuses anyone. Let me stop here before I start on another tangential - such as the reasonable price for example.

I bought black bamboo , guava tree , blue butterfly flower plant and many others tropical flower plants that I love to have for the souvenirs of Vietnam . All the plants I bought are in very good health and grow beautifuly because of good advices and instructions given to me by the sellor . I seems to me that the sellor doesn't care much about how much he can get from selling but he enjoy to transmit his knowledges , explain things and give satisfaction to custumers . I admire his knowledges about planting and appreciate very much his helps and the way he handles his business , very friendly and sincerely . I recommand to everyone to visit his place to discover and enjoy a nature either inside or ouside door .

I heard about Flora Exotica at Le Jardin Botanique de Montreal's fair and I was pleased to see some exotic products at a very fair price when I visited them....The service is courteous and the knowledge of the owner about his products is very adequate...I had to contact the seller for some advice on the care of the purchases I made and the reply was always fast, precise and very friendly...so I acknowledge that I am very pleased with Flora Exotica and recommend it to my friends and those who like to find some little treasures...
