I've ordered from Ecolage 3 times and the plants I get from them are always in perfect condition when they arrive--definitely the best performance of any of the places I've ordered larger size plants from.

Rules are rules as far as these feedbacks go, but leaving a negative feedback for a company located in Louisiana just days after the most devastating hurricane in history first hit the state is just so incredibly uncalled for and out-of-line, that I ask those of you in charge of the ratings to please remove it from Ecolage's feedback. The company had a grand total of ZERO negatives prior to this. Be assured that I have no ties to Ecolage, but I am merely an American with a heart and common sense. I urge others who read these comments to follow me in this effort.

sylvainyang...Being in Oklahoma, I'm sure you had to be aware of the complete devastation from the hurricane. How could you possibly be heartless enough to leave a comment like that just days after the hurricane? At a time like this, who even cares about plants?! I mean were all plant lovers here, but in the big picture the only thing that is important is saving people. You complain that you couldn't get through to the company and they didn't get to you...how would you have any idea if they had been hit hard by the storm, or if they had power, phones, internet, and if all of the workers were safe? I pray for you.

Others...please join me in this effort. Thanks!

Email confirmation, friendly and immediate upon order, and so well packaged that even though the delivery person walked up my drive with the box upside down not a single leaf was damaged. Can't hardly wait to order more from them. They have a fantastic selection.

i recently ordered an acca sellowiana and two stromanthe sanguinea from ecolage. this was my first plant mail-order experience in roughly 5 yrs. i cant say enough good about this company. i ordered online on monday-received confirmation email right away. the next day received email on delivery confirming shipment on wednesday for a friday delivery. came on time friday and was packed to perfection. not a leaf out of place. i looked up musella lasiocarpa on dg to find who carried them and was relieved to see ecolage's name. i ordered it monday and same routine. it is about 4' tall and perfect, perfect! steven is also wonderful re: responding to emails promptly. i can't recommend them highly enough! they certainly havent seen the last of me! debi

Service like this with no haggling is extemely rare today!
I also am VERY IMPRESSED by the health, beauty,and size of the plant I received.

I order plants from a number of different websites but Ecolage is by far the best. I cannot believe the size of the rangoon creepers I received today. It would normally take several growing seasons to have a rangoon creeper this size. Also, Ecolage could have shipped crystal in that package. The plants were well protected for the journey. Steven was very helpful and quickly responded to my e-mail questions about planting as well. I cannot wait to see this nursery in person one day!

I purchased two quinces and a dwarf japanese cedar a few months ago. I was surprised by the large box that arrived. I was even more surprised by the large size of the plants I received. The plants were very well packaged and very healthy. The quinces were blooming. This is the first time I have received such large sized plants and such healthy plants when ordering through the mail. I thought the shipping seemed a little high when I placed the order - but when I saw how they carefully packaged each plant, not to mention the weight of the box, it was more than fair. I would not hesitate to order from this company again.

I ordered several crepe myrtles that were on sale last fall. They were packed well and survived the best efforts of the shipper to squash them. All four (which arrived dormant and were stored in a cool place for the winter) have begun sprouting and look in good shape.

The order was processed quickly and the plants were a good value. I would do business with this firm again.

I can hardly explain how excited I was when I received my order from Ecolage. The box was so tall, I thought it was surely a very "creative" packing job. What I found inside was a 2 foot tall passion flower vine worth twice what I paid for it, and another smaller but very healthy vine. They were still moist and packed with extreme care! They look better than some of the plants I've had for 2 years! I can't wait to order from them again and I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone else!

After 5 days I was just able to open the box and was absolutely amazed at their condition! I can't praise Ecolage enough for the great care they took in packaging each plant! They couldn't be in any better condition than if I had picked them up at the nursery in person! I can only hope to raise them with the same obvious care that they took!

They may not be the cheapest, but they have to be the best!

The plant was extremely well packed,arrived in excellent condition, and is even bigger than I had hoped for. The leaves are huge and the plant is very healthy looking. Steven was very helpful in answering all of my questions quickly and went out of his way to help. This is by far the best buying experience I've ever had from any online nursery. The plant and the customer service were both outstanding!

My third order from Ecolage, and as usual everything arrived in perfect condition. Every plant I've ever ordered from Steven has been the epitome of health! The clitoria ternatea and cestrum nocturnum are blooming, the purple Montrose chaste tree is large and healthy, the Mexican firebush is substantial enough to plant directly inground without having to "baby" it into something that will survive the initial transplant shock. I can't say enough good things about this company. His plants acclimate better than any I've ever purchased elsewhere, and they have all quickly become the showpieces of my collection. Steve Abrahams e-mailed me again to let me know that some of the plants I had ordered were still in hibernation, and would appear to be dead, which was good to know. The plants arrived on schedule, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the plants had budded enroute. I planted them, and they have grown vigorously. The last plant, a crepe myrtle budded this past Saturday. Every twig on it budded. I am very pleased with my results and will continue to do business with this company.
