Comments regarding Almost Eden Plants

I ordered from this company for the first time, I must say the customer service was excellent. My plants arrived in a timely manner, were healthy, well rooted plants, not cuttings. I ordered the red and pink epiphyllum, and the lifesaver cactus. I will definately order from them again.

Received my first order. Well packaged - bought 4 plants.
All bigger than expected, packaged well, no shipping damage, n o spilled soil.
Had fast & friendly customer service.
Selection of plants good, was looking for Clerodendrum incisum.Will add to my favorite sellers!

I ordered 6 plants a couple of months ago. They arrived in perfect condition (they were packed very carefully). They were very healthy, robust and well established plants (one was already in bloom). I repotted them immediately and they are all doing very well (3 more are in bud now). I am very happy with my order and will order from them again!!!

well i know these people very well and they know their plants very well also when they tell you they do this for the enjoyment and the people they really mean that. Thatis a MCMILLIAN trait ,honesty ,they will always try to make you happy and will always thank you for giving them a chance nobody is perfect but they are as good as it gets(everybody needs to try those figs) they owned a nursery for many years and they didnt stay in business because they tried to just take peoples money it was not about the money it was quality and seeing all those new faces and old faces too they always tried to make you feel special even if you only stopped to say hi they always had time for the little people thats what life and good people are all about and they dont get much better than the MCMILLIANS of DE RIDDER LA

I ordered 2 night blooming jasmines from Almost Eden. They arrived quickly but were very small and scraggly. I watered them immediately and sat them in the window. Two days after they arrived they began dropping leaves. Then two days after that all of the leaves were gone and the stems completely dried out.

I sent an e-mail to them but received no response. I just blew $25 of my hard earned money and they can't be bothered to respond.

This is not the first time I've purchased these plants but usually from other vendors. I've been growing them for years so I know what they should look like. I was extremely disappointed and will surely not use Almost Eden again.l

We did not recieve any mail referring to this problem, unless our Spam filter shunted it there. We would have immediately rectified this problem, and certainly hope the purchaser will phone me at 337 462 8255, or e-mail, so that we will know where to send a refund, or fresh plants if preferred, at no cost. Obviously we are obligated to fix the problem, but do not know how to contact this person. "

I bought some honeysuckle for my Mom. Almost Eden went out of their way to help me. They gave great advice and talked to my Mom when she recieved the plants. I enjoy them very much. I'm getting my jasmine from them in about two weeks. I have to plant my roses first. Great people and plants. Mother said they arrived beautiful and healthy. Packed very well.

I ordered from Almost Eden back in Feburary of this year and I asked if my order could not be shipped until my weather here in Michigan was more stable for the health of the plants. My order came last week and I was VERY pleased at how well they packaged my plants. I didn't loose one leaf and there were no bent stems, they arrived in perfect condition. I will be ordering from Almost Eden again, they will be doing some damage to my back account because I am that confident in ordering from them again. ozzymom

I just received my first order from John and Bonnie at Almost Eden, and it arrived quickly and in great shape. It had been very well packaged. I look forward to the enjoyment of the fragrance from the blooms of the plants, as well as the wonderful taste of the preserves that Bonnie makes from their figs.They are great people with which to do business.

I ordered 3 Red Texas Star Hibiscus and must say they were the most perfect plants I have receieved via the mail. The size was incredible and they were packaged perfectly. I was a bit nervous being that it is still so hot and the shipment was to arrive last week. The plants were so healthy you would have thought I bought them at the local nursery. I cant say enough about my purchase, I will recommend them highly to all of my friends from the Southern states..

I gave an incorrect address to Jeff when I ordered a Silver Dollar Hoya. I emailed him several times and responses were quick and helpful. Ultimatley, I arrived 1 1/2 hours at my Post Office before they were going to return it back and possibly kill the plants. Becasue Jeff was prompt in his emailed responses, I was able to get my beautiful specimens in good shape. I would recommend Almost Eden to everyone.

Just received 4 Sweet Almond Verbenas from this company. I ordered on Monday and they showed up Friday!! Very fast service. The plants were healthy and well packed. I will be ordering from them again.

The plants that I ordered from them recently came well-packed and in a healthy condition. Along with them, I also received a check for the plants that I had ordered but were out of stock by the time that they received my order. Good customer service, and the plants are thriving.

I ordered plants for mother, for mothers day. that was several weeks ago. I have tried contacting them, get a machine. never call back. I have emailed them, never email back. The money was deducted out of my account IMMEDIATELY, but still NO PLANTS, and no responce. Always had good experiences in past. . .Would think twice before ordering from them again.

Very pleased with the perennials & tropicals I purchased from Almost Eden last month. Everything was very well packed too.

Plants arrived fast, were in good condition and as advertised! Will do business again- service was good and the price is right.

I ordered 10 plants from Almost Eden. 2 Boxes out of the 3 shipped ariived in just a few days of ordering. The third box was lost for 8 days. All of the plants including the box of the lost were nice size well rooted plants. All were packaged carefully. My only complaint from my experience is that my E-mail about the lost package was never responded to but it showed up and I am happy with all of my purchases.

Almost Eden Is one of the best growers to find certain plants. They send out excellent plants for the price. This is a fine company to deal with and will continue to do so.

I ordered two plants this spring. They only had one of the plants and told me they would send the other one this summer. When by July I still hadn't received the rest of my order, I emailed Jeff McMillan to remind him. He answered me back right away (very nicely) and apologized and told he would send it out right away. The plant arrived a few days later in the mail and I am very happy with it. It's a nice-sized, healthy plant. And they package their plants so well they survive the trip through the mail with no damage and no loose soil over everything. I'm very pleased with the prompt communication and quality service I've received from Almost Eden plants.

I was pleased with the Texas Star Hibiscus plants I ordered. They arrived promptly, were well packed, and are thriving. The cost was low compared to other nurseries. I will order again given the opportunity.

I shopped on site and found the personnel most helpful. They took my list of plants, found them for me and put them in a wagon and helped me load my truck. I was very pleased with the plants and the entire nursery.

I have order many times mostly succulents I order here first plants are nice size packing and sipping is the best. The staff are all helpful.I cant say enough good things. try almost edean first.

I ordered from Almost Eden May 9, 2004. The money was deducted from my account and I have NEVER received my plants as of June 21,2004. I have sent numerous email requests to Jeff McMillian requesting a refund and never heard back from him. I DO NOT recommend that anyone order from this company, they are not trustworthy and their customer service and response time stinks !!! They will rip you off too !!!! Buyer Beware !

Nice smooth ordering experience for me. I ordered three plants. All were shipped timely, with nice healthy plants arriving very well packed. One was small, but it's a fast growing vine and has numerous new shoots on it. The other two were very nice size, indeed. All in all, a very positive experience.

I ordered seven goumi berry plants. Was very disappointed. The cuttings were rooted in florists foam, what's with that! They barely had any roots when they arrived to me. The plants are still doing poorly. I guess after receiving healthy plants from Flower Scents Garden, I naturally assumed that all mail-order nurseries were like them. FSG has definitely spoiled me. Get your plant elsewhere, use them as a last resort.

I placed an order for Neomarica caerulea and paid in advance. When the plant came it was much larger than i had hoped. I responded to them in favor and also requested they identify the flower as all purple, not the gracillis form that is white and purple. I had email from them that they were sorry but that the plant sent to me was indeed gracillis, and that they would credit the charge+postage immediately. They did so. I think this company not only sends remarkable stock but also is very responsible. I would definitely order from them at any time.

This was my first order from this company. I ordered Zeylandica Sansevieria. The plant was sent within a week. Also, it is healthy! I'm very satisfied!!

The employees at Almost Eden are very professional and David was especially helpful and friendly.I ordered a citrus tree from them and was very happy with my tree. They have great prices. One of the lowest I have seen. I will love the opportunity to order from them again.

Have ordered twice from Almost Eden and was very pleased with the plants that I have received. One plant that I had ordered was one that I had been looking for quite some time. PLan to do more business with them!!!

This was my second order with this company. I am very pleased with the big healthy plants and the care that went into packaging them for shipping. The website might need a little tweaking, don't let that discourage you from buying good plants at a good price.

I've ordered from this company two times and both times I received large, healthy, and clean plants. My order was received much quicker than I thought it would be. Great place to do business in my book.
