Amaryllidaceae resurrection Lily/ naked lady Lycoris squamigera I brought these from south-east Ohio (zone 6) and they aren't doing nearly as well here in Jackson/Pearl Mississippi even though they are a Southern classic. They aren't doing well because I don't have gutters on the front of my house and the ground is all thick with what we locals call "Yazoo Clay" which makes red-clay mud look like fun time!! ^_^. The ones I nearly suffocated in the clay are doing better now that i have them potted but I find if I want anything with a bulb to grow for more than one season here, I have to dig about 3x more space out and fill it with compost & garden soil. natural compost filler works best for me. I am literally digging & lining giant 'Flowerpots" into the ground to get things to grow. I have plenty of these, even though they have barely bloomed since I moved them here, they have propagated every year. My Great-great-great Grandmother originally planted these in Marietta, Ohio and we have given them to family everywhere. I have plenty to trade!! | Plants, Roots, Tubers and Bulbs | (PlantFiles) |

Rose Blue Girl Enormous growth this summer, plant comes to my shoulder, "rescued" it from Wal-Mart for $3.00 and salvaged it into one of my most prolific bloomers! | Plants | (PlantFiles) |

Rose Perfume Delight The new growth this fall on this struggler that I purchased late in season is amazing and lush. Treated the blackspot with cider vinegar-water mix (1 to 1) and had success. Smells wonderful. | Plants | (PlantFiles) |
