Planted in between second and third oak trees next to fairy hibiscus--can spread to five ft wide 6 ft. tall. Likes really alkaline soil amend with lots of sand and wood ash. After flower stem blooms cut back hard down almost to ground and will re-grow new blooms-prune to keep bush from looking too wild and overseeding.
