Salvia aegyptiaca Egyptian Sage is an incredibly beautiful desert sub-shrub, and it is probably the smallest-flowered species of the huge Salvia genus. Staphisagria macrosperma This is an interesting large annual Larkspur that is quite challenging to grow from seed: most viable seeds are dormant, and they will germinate in the next rainy season! | Blue Mint Bush Ziziphora clinopodioides On Oct. 1st, 2014, seed material of Ziziphora clinopodioides was collected on the Israeli summit of Mount Hermon, i.e., 2,000 meters above the civil war in Syria. This is a very delicate and fragrant sub-shrub, and it is eminently suitable for an alpine rock garden. It has an English name, Blue Mint Bush, and it is also highly appreciated in Persian popular medicine, although it allegedly contains the toxic compound Menthofuran. | Seeds | (PlantFiles) |
