Let's garden not fight!

I accept everyone here. I may not like your belief you may not like mine. That is not what a DG is about. DG is a group of people who love to garden. That I can accept. I may say something once in awhile about God. You might say something once in awhile about not believing in God. The general Discussion is just that, so it may lead to those types of subjects. We don’t have to agree with one another we just have to respect one another. We can still all talk about gardening. So please let’s not start anymore of these threads that are getting people hot and hurt. Let’s just enjoy our gardens and enjoy each other’s company.

My only true belief is the future can be a better place ; we are Stewards of this planet and must take steps to preserve it for future generations to come . I will be PROACTIVE and change the things I am able to while I walk upon this planet Earth . i come here to learn and talk about gardening i love to protect and serve mother earth. all the fighting chased me out of bingo. we all serve the mother we garden. that joins us together in family. doesn't matter what and who we are. gardens are different. plants are different. but we share space in our gardens for all different plants. well the mother earth is one big giant garden and she put us all in her garden.

I have stayed out of all the bickering and refused to participate, spent my time on the other threads, but i just have to say when i saw farmgirl's post, i finally saw something that i felt was worth commenting on. She couldnt have said it any better! It gave me a warm feeling inside! Thanks!

I'm enjoying my garden it is nice and peacefull hopefully we can make that happen here again.

The stress and frustration of the horrors this last week has been telling. It's served to bring raw emotions to a head in people worldwide, and I'm sure that's contributed to the eruption lately at our own worldwide community at DG.

GH and I are going to make a real effort to keep our focus on the things which really matter. There is SO much good to still be thankful for!

I DID IT ,I DID IT, I GOT TO GO INTO MY GARDEN TODAY,IT WAS COOL AND I FELT BETTER AND I FELL DOWN UPON MY KNEES AND PUT MY HANDS IN DIRT ,IT WAS THE FIRST TIME IN 4 WEKS ,AAAAHHHHHHHH I FELT SO COOL AND EARTHIE.AAAAHH THE SMELL OF THE DIRT I JUST SIT HAVE A FELT SO AT PEACE WITH MYSELF,I EVEN PULLED WEEDS,CAN U BELIEVE IT .IT HAS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I HAVE GOT TO PULL WEEDS AND MY HERBS WHERE THERE HIDING WAITING FOR ME TO COME AND FIND THEM AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHWHAT COULD BE ANY SWEETIE

Better weed the herbs garden well, or you will end up cutting the wrong plants for dinner! I was out gathering basil in the dark last week, didn't know I have tassel flower leaves until I got in the kitcken! LOL

Awwww, do I have to go to my garden again???? I just spent the morning pulling weeds!!!! It's hot outside, I'm sticky and sweaty, and I finally got my nephew laid down for a nap, so it's quiet in the house and I'm hoping for a shower before nightfall. Please please please don't make me go back out there just yet :)

I think I'll stay in here and update my journal, which is in desperate need of updating. Ya'll have fun out there this afternoon - wear some sunscreen and skeeter repellant!

Well, i'm back from my lunch.... and I'm not going back to my garden, not yet, can't make me, no, no, not ever.... at least until I can get off work!!!! Lol!!!! then i'll "tip-toe through my tulips"- no, I won't do that either, can't make me- 'cause I don;t have any tulips!!!! Well, I do have two lips- but not in my garden!!!! LOL!!!! OOPS- getting too crazy AGAIn- goota go get my meds...........

Making my way to the garden.....I got to decide where to put 14 new plants, and get the rest of the tomatoe patch cleaned up, it's cloudy, supposed to rain soon, but I won't melt. I'll see y'all later.
