i couldnt figure out if i wanted black or white grout . so i did half and half to see. i decided on the black , of which i ran out. so its been sitting there half and half waiting for me to finish . its going outside to house empty pots and dirt and tools . i asked dh to take it out 3 months ago so i could work on it out there lol its heavy .

here is a house i made out of a log and old light fixture . i just needed another . it might not last lol i dont know how that moss will do in the weather . it rained hard last night and everything is fine. they have a hosta path .

(dana)Owensboro, KY(Zone 6a)

here is their hosta path . oh by the way the mini hostas had like 3 in each pot . i ended up wit 4 separate plants . i didnt divide all of them just the ones that were apart already .

Nice to meet you "Dana's Mom" :0)

I love what you've done. I especially love that wreath on the door. So precious. Did you make that with grapevine, or brown wire?

Also the tippy pots are fantastic! That first picture has an illusion that makes them look like they are 4" pots...it isn't until you posted the other picture, that you can see that they are teensy tiny. So cute!

What is that plant in the last picture with the purple flowers?

great job!

Everything looks wonderful, folks! I really haven't put my fairy stuff out yet - better get moving!

Just this, so far. I made the birdbath out of two little wood pieces. The gazebo is from one of those Christmas villages. The bricks from http://miniature-gardens.com/.

Sure is fun to see all of the cute Fairy homes etc. I have mine home and door out. It is too hot to "play" outside. I am dying to go out and plant around it.

We have outdoor lighting and spotlights on my birdbath, fountain, trees. I asked my hubby if he will add a spot light and light up my farie house! Yep, he will. Now I will be able to see it at night too!!! I found a great place for it. Nestled in some Chinese Fringe Flower bushes and Blue Plumbago.

I don't feel great so I can't wait to feel better. Heat doesn't agree with me at all. I get REALLY ill. I do 90% of my outdoor gardening in the fall, winter and spring. Our heat starts early. In summer, I just keep everything watered and trimmed. My flowers for summer are all in and doing great.

(Taylor) Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you, flowerpot!!

That helped SO much! They were able to look it up and she said even though it shows sold out, she said you can still order if you call :0)

I am going to get at least one, maybe two(for gift)

THANK YOU for the item # !!

Primrose Sue-
I love, love your birdbath. I was going to ask where you got it, but you say you made it. Please tell me how! I want need one!

Sally- I can certainly sympathize with our Texas heat...I can handle it when well, but if I am sick, I have to either go out before 7am, or only enjoy the outdoors through a window, lol...feel better soon! :0)

South, TX

Thanks, Seedpicker. I don't get up very early. I get up at 9am. With Chronic Fatigue, I get all of the sleep I can get. The evening is nice at least. My little doggie loves to sit on the patio every evening. So cute. I put her pillow down and she loves it. We watch the birdies.

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

Sally, I can sympathize with you regarding the heat - it makes me sick also. Not too much lighting on the fairy house, you don't want to scare them away! LOL!

Taylor, I got the two wood pieces at A. C. Moore. A flat dish and a "whatchamacallit" dowel that I cut the top off!

Thumbnail by PrimroseSue
Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

I was just looking at the Dollhouse and More site. Do you think fairies would have need for one of these? LOL!

I ordered a set of mini eggs - to put in little bird nests, and an American flag - the house kind, because my fairies are American!

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

Oh, and I was looking for bird feeders, and found this one on eBay and ordered it. It's unfinished and 6" tall.

Darling things you have Primrose! Don't worry, the lighting isn't on the whole night, hehe.

(Taylor) Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

PrimroseSue-
I don't mean to bug you, but just spent 30 minutes on that site, and can't find the pieces you are referring to...

did you buy them online, or pick them up in person at a store?
help??
:0)

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

I picked them up at my local store. I made the birdbath last year, but these are items that are usually always there. The dowel thing probably came in a little bag like this. This isn't the actual bag, but I have a few dowels lying around. I can't remember if the plate was in a bag or in a bin.

Thumbnail by PrimroseSue
(Taylor) Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

do you make those birdbaths on commission? (*wink *wink) I'd love to buy one from you.

I doubl I can find those parts, but I'll certainly try next time I go to a craft store.

you did a great job! I love the way you painted it, too
:0)

(dana)Owensboro, KY(Zone 6a)

hi guys i love that bird bath too! we should make things and swap them .
