Most spiders have a pattern to their webs. Black widows do not. They like any place such as under an outdoor chair, cracks in foundations, garages, etc. One thing is certain. When you see an unorganized messy web, look for the Black widow. Almost without fail you will find it. I get my spray & use it generously in the crack or under where ever I find the web. Many spider are found waiting in or on the web but usually not
this one. Better safe than sorry.
CLOSED: How to identify Black Widow spider webs
I have found that black widow spider webs are very strong - I read somewhere that they are stronger than a strand of human hair.
You can tell one just by tugging through it.
