I have a 9 year old stand of White Pines. One is turning brown and seems to be dying, although it sent out new growth this spring. The new growth also died. Now the one next to it is browning out it's new growth. My question is: does the fact that during this rainy time they have been in standing water for 1 or 2 days at a time cause it to die? Or what else could it be? No webbing, bugs or anything. Help!!!!!!!!!
White Pines dying
Maybe white pine blister rust? Is there any resin bleeding on the bark?
Resin
not that I can find.
