My DH just called out to me from below "decks" that Tony Blair is flying to America possibly tomorrow. The news reported that many British were among those who fell last Tuesday!

I've never supported Blair but I have to say his quick response and talking to other nations in Europe has been impressive. I think the reported number of missing Brits is about 300 (not too sure on that one).

Baa - I don't think there is too much we agree on when it comes to politics and I am certainly not going to start another controversy here, but just wanted you to know and I'm smiling.........I like him!! Feel a bit sorry for his wife though - she looks so timid and diminuitive even though she is quite tall!! I also feel that he means what he says and does his best :-)

I'm of the mind that I may disagree on things with someone but it doesn't stop me from having a great deal of respect and liking for them. At the end of the day the parties here are pretty much the same now and I'm glad that he has shown what a good man he can be and that he can cope with all manner of things. I think he has shown he is a strong leader, Britain has always needed strong leaders.

But then I'm also of the opinion that anyone with a desire to be a polititian should immediately be barred from ever being one for that reason LOL just kidding, its not a job I would do and I wouldn't want to tell anyone how to do a job I wouldn't be prepared to do for all the tea in China.

Phew!!! So glad we do actually agree he is a decent human being and a good prime minister and no, I wouldn't want any leader's job - it has to be one of the most stressful positions in the world!
