New Sunflower Seed Sprout

I just planted these seeds about 2 days ago and they are starting to sprout.
I noticed these weird, white, webbish type of strings around the sprout.
It looks like there are little eggs at the ends of the strings.
Are these fungus gnats?

These do not look anything like fungus gnat eggs - see http://tinyurl.com/lu5ace for an example. To me, they look more like the tiny fruiting bodies of some fungus.
