No hot glue on the chrysalis Cat....just a drop to attach the silk. I know it would have been fine in the bottom of the cage, but I wanted to photograph it when it emerged and it would have been on the lid.
A new bait recipe!!! LOL! You could bottle that dog slobber! Great picture.
Those GSTs are still eating. I cut about 5 branches a day just for the two! It is like they are trying to eat everything so the other one doesn't get it. Maybe if I separate them the eating will calm down.
Frostweed gave me two new passion vines and they aren't but about 8" tall and one already has 3 GFs. They are already thick on my other vines. Those are Blue Crown and evergreen. I see cats on them when it is still so cold. I guess they overwinter like the chrysalis do.
I took two wire panel towers yesterday and where the BC has come up in the flower bed; made an arbor of sorts. I didn't realize one was shorter than the other until I put them up! Now I have to figure out a way to connect them that doesn't look tacky.

Sheila, whew...good thing :o)
Hmmmm...am seriously thinking about throwing out the box of doggy toys into the yard!!! There are gobs of old chew toys and bones they continue to gnaw on that have untold amounts of dog slobber that has seeped into the hidey holes - that would surely keep a butterfly happy :o)
Seems so much easier than re-hydrating scat!!!! :o)
