Is it Lycosidae?
CLOSED: Immature Wolf?
This is a male lynx spider (family Oxyopidae) in the genus Oxyopes; possibly the western lynx spider, Oxyopes scalaris - see http://tinyurl.com/mv7xea for a head-on view of one. These spiders are active hunters, and the long spines on their legs may help them secure their prey.
