Baby boom

Some of the canada geese stay here all year, the others from feb thru dec, so yes, most of the year.

It is really fun to watch them with the babies though.

There was a wood duck out there last night. The wood duckings tend to hop on the water to move fast. When there is danger, they will dive, only to surface again, popping like toast from the toaster. They get some air and drop down into the water. Such fun to watch!

Love the little ducklings in a row, cpartc...here's a pick I took last year of a young Orchard Oriole peaking out of its nest. That nest hung in that tree for months before finally turning loose.

Wonderful. I love it!!!
