CLOSED: Help me ID this spider, could it be a brown recluse?

My dog had this spider stuck to her paw, I guess she must have stepped on it somewhere in my house/yard. I'm afraid that it could have bitten her. I live in Guadalajara, in Mexico.

Whatever this is, it is not a recluse spider. The eye pattern alone excludes it - see http://tinyurl.com/mlr4bv for a close-up view of the cephalothorax of a brown recluse showing the eyes as well as the characteristic 'violin' marking.

We have a spider just like this here - it is called the "giant California Redwood Tree spider" - and they are everywhere... every other day in my shower... I just throw them outside... with the help of a jar transport ;)
They can bite - but not a big deal - so, don't play with one ~
