Hi,
Need help figuring out what is eating the leaves on my Valencia Orange tree. I live in Mountain View CA. I see ants on the leaves sometimes but they seem to be attracted to the spring blossoms. I haven't seen any other insect on the tree. A picture is attached.

If you cannot catch anything in the act of feeding, you might try contacting the Santa Clara County office of the University of California's Cooperative Extension service (see http://cesantaclara.ucdavis.edu/) and ask their advice.
