My cat Thor is 14 years old. Over the past three years he has gone from just over 15 pounds to just under 13 pounds. (I just weighed him yesterday at 12.8 lbs). I have not changed his diet, and he seems just fine, he is just losing weight.
Is this normal as a cat slips into his senior years? I have never had a cat this old (though 14 is not that old), so I have nothing to compare him to.
