This spider was located in a bedroom of a house my husband and I were thinking of purchasing. It really creeped me out!!! It was about an inch or so not including the legs. I can't think of anything else to write about it, but if you have questions, let me know. And I hope someone can tell me what this is!!!!
This appears to be a wolf spider (family Lycosidae). They are active hunters with good (for spiders) eyesight that sometimes wander indoors in search of prey. They essentially are harmless to humans, but large specimens are capable of inflicting a painful bite if mishandled.
