I'll try to root a cutting for you,and get back to you when it's rooted, sending a cutting probably wouldn't make it.
I admire the people who have the patience in hybridizing a new plant, years of devotion!
Love the oranges
Thanks Tropicman, as soon as one of my new cross pollinated cutting has rooted I will send it to you, if you want any particular one that I posted in this forum under the name "Your Opinion Requested" let me know, and I'll put it aside for you.

Ok got some in sphagnum moss, and some in perlite, wonder which will root first!
I am in PA in zone 6. A neighbor moved and gave me a hibiscus "tree standard". It looks like several vines grown and braided to form a trunk. It doesn't look grafted (like roses). It still had a tag, but it wasn't informative. Orange Blooms Hibiscus grown by Costa Farms. I checked their website and sent an email, but haven't received an answer, yet.
I have had it less than a week, and frequently have to bring it in at night. (At least the tag said that it couldn't be below 50'F). When I got it, It was very dry, so I watered it. I mist it with water a couple times a day as well.
It had its first bud open, but it didn't open fully. It has a couple more buds. Hopefully,I will be able to keep it alive and get a pic of the flower. The leaves aren't shiny. They have a dull brownish surface. I assume it was from cold damage. I am waiting for them to fall or for new growth.
WQP, I was in PR quite a bit for work for a while. Very beautiful island. I remember the hibiscus and the tulip trees.
Tropicman, some people use coir to root and start roses. Don't know if that would work for you.
I am new to Dave's and brand new to this forum, learning how to keep my new-to-me plant alive.
Welcome to Daves.
I'm using coir for the first time in 14 inch hanging baskets, and have already learned birds chip away at it for making there nest, couple baskets a third is already gone!!!!
