PLEASE HELP, yellowing leaves on outside of plants

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I have fallen in love with Ruffles in Pink with her yellow center and dark pink. Don't know who hybridized her.

I am on the wrong thread............sorry...........back to May flowers...........

I've got it covered Gail, both are in the bedroom window, far far away from the rest of my plants. I have been very lucky with critters, the very occasional mealie or yellow aphid shows up in the summer months, but I'm extremely vigilant, have eyes like a hawk, and they never get the upper hand - I never have to use anything stronger than Safer's Insecticidal Soap.

good! You don't want an infestation of mealy bugs to ever get started............

bayer 75 will knock out any mealy infestation, and prevent them from starting

I have always been afraid of using Bayers of any kind.........because the percentage of the chemical needed comes in such higher doses in : for example, Bayer's Tree and Shrubs which I use on my hoyas is too strong for indoor plants............

Tell us more about Bayer 75 as I have never heard of it..................

I don't like to use anything stronger than insecticidal soap. Luckily I am in a climate where bugs are not too much of an issue, nothing I can't handle with the lightweight methods. I know it is more work, that you have to be more vigilant, not let them get ahead of you, and spray for several weeks consecutively, but i'd rather do that than use the chemicals. Heavy duty chemicals scare me.

I am a country farmer girl........these are such lightweight chemicals compared to the necessary chemicals used in farming. When we were growing up, even DDT was allowed...........we would sit outside and watch the duster planes come over the house.
