Great!

Sheila, please save me some seeds from the standing cypress. I would be very appreciative.

Actually, I think I might have some Standing Cypress here growing? If it is, it hasn't started to bloom yet, I just took this picture.

What do you think?

I must be living in some sort of microclimate or something because things just seem to grow at their own pace around here!

I believe what you have is Dog Fennel, Eupatorium capillifolium a very pretty ferny plant.

Oh well wishful thinking I guess!

Mine does look very close to the image of Dog Fennel by MotherNature in the plant guide.

You need some seeds then allwild.

Anyone needing dog fennel out there? I have a real problem with it in the pastures. I'd gladly get you a start of it if you want it.

Yes, I believe I do need some Standing Cypress seeds. It is beautiful.
Thank you Sheila_FW!

Will do, I will post again when I am ready to send them.

I need rain!!!!!!!!!! Even the wildflowers are wilting!! I can't put water on everything fast enough. Today the garden just looks like a bunch of burned veggies.

I do wish that some of the people getting flooded would bottle up that water and send it our way.

Yes, it is going to be hard to keep things looking good, we are expecting a long string of 100 degree days this week.

I have the potted plants way back in the shade. And I'm not planting anything. It's been very hot and dry and the wind is very drying on the ground. I'm trying to keep some things alive. Still watering the area by the shed when I can. I'm surprised those plants are doing as well as they are. San Antonio has had triple digits for a while now...very much like July weather, not June. People are afraid of Stage 3 water restrictions, I think, which might be here very soon.

Not much native here, except the Leucophyllum with an Inland Seaoats peeking over its top. But mullein, like a lot of folks, moved to Texas and became naturalized citizens of our great state. The mullein is actually growing in the asphalt driveway. Life is tenacious.

Sheila, is it too late to to ask for some Standing Cypress seeds? I have some Erythrina Crista Galli seeds, another great hummer plant for trade.
