Is this a normal Japanese morning glory leaf?

I'm new to Japanese Morning Glory. Is this chartreuse leave color and the crinkled texture normal? The plant has been like this since it got it's first true leaves.

I can't wait for it to bloom, it does seem to be a very slow grower compared to it's sister that is not a Japanese type.

Your leaves are very nice and healthy and look like Leaves from Kikyo-Type Morning Glory

Here is photo of one of mine that is a Darker Green
