I love daylilies. I can't afford the high dollar ones, but the ones I have I do love!

Jason Salter - a favorite

Smuggler's Gold - another favorite. It's an extended bloomer, always has perfect blooms, very large ruffly blooms and is just a perfect yellow.

OOOPs - it's actually Brocaded Gown. I get the two confused because they are both in the front and both tough yellow daylilies.

A grace stamile mini that I can't remember the name of and did not label.

I have over ten clumps of this one in the front landscaped bed - as a landscape feature.

I have several that will be blooming in the next couple of days that I've not seen bloom in my yard. I can't wait!!

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I keep hoping to start a daylily farm. I love the little beauties. They survived two terrible droughts. I also have a real heart for Texas natives. My yard is full of wildflowers and daylilies.

My DH thinks no one would come way out here to "plumb nearly" to see daylilies and wildflowers.

I know I'd go a long way to see them, if I could just get him to go.

I am thinking maybe next year in the spring, I'll have a one day open house and offer some of my daylilies and wildflowers that I will have all potted up.

I am about 20-30 minutes off I-45 between Centerville and Buffalo or for larger towns halfway between Houston and Dallas.

Ya'll think anyone would come?

Stephanie, I am like you when a new one blooms for the first time. I can't wait to see it open. You guys all have pretty daylilies.

I don't have any high dollar ones, but I still think they are pretty. I even love the old ditch lilies, I am getting tired of Stella though. She multiplies and dominates a bit much.

I really like the two tones.

The first one was sold to me as Frans Hal. It is not that so I don't know what it is. Any ideas? I have looked online and cannot find one like it so far. It is a rebloomer and demands attention.

Love all your beauties. Charlene, you are so wonderful with your well marked plants that are all in such good condition. I am not fond of driving so I don't think I would make it to a sale. Maybe others that are DL obsessed would be more inclined.
