This little guy reminds me of a Harlequin bug but I have no clue what it is. Any ideas?
CLOSED: unknown bug
this appears to be a nymph of the Florida predatory stink bug, Euthyrhynchus floridanus - see http://tinyurl.com/qvhnh6 for an image. As the name implies, this bug feeds on other insects instead of garden plants.
must be the season for stink bugs i had a different nymph yesterday
Thanks, suunto! That's him alright! The picture you linked to is super-cool. I would have never imagined such a lovely little bug attacking another bug. I guess maybe I'll add my pics to the bugfiles and mark this one solved.
