DAILY PICS VOL. 216

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

We came from here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/989881/ where we last saw dancing west coast birds from Adelbertcat.

Here's an adorable chipping sparrow doing what they do best. Be adorable.

Bonaparte's Gull or possibly Black-headed Gull (not enough detail to see which)
Quoting:
Is this a Warbling Vireo?

I'd say Red-eyed Vireo; too strong a head pattern for Warbling.

That Caracara reminds me a little of Groucho Marx!

Nice shots. My Pine Siskens are gone...maybe they come while I'm at work. Also, I've noticed that the Gold Finches are missing; they used to be all over the nyjer feeder. Cool Mexican Eagle. Never seen a white crowned sparrow...would love to get a shot of them.

Here's a series with my Female Downy Woodpecker. She looks worn down. I've notice she and the male have been gathering mouths full of suet and flying off so I think they have little ones somewhere. I sure hope they bring them to my backyard for a photo op.
