Calystegia hederacea/pubescens/japonica Flore Pleno sources

Hi

here's a list (below) of some suppliers of Calystegia pubescens Flore Pleno http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/56485/

Usually listed as C. hederacea Flore pleno or even C. japonica Flore pleno

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

This vine is gorgeous! Seriously one of the most beautiful blooms I've ever seen on a vine! They almost look like pink roses in bloom! So incredibly pretty! Thanks for all the supplier lists, Colin!

All we need is an import permit LOL.

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

No kidding, Joseph!!! Don't I wish!!!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

wow really prretty!

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

i know i would be buying if we did have it

Birmingham, United Kingdom

The correct name of this is actually Calystegia pubescens not Calystegia hederacea as stated in my thread, thanks for the sources and correction, just in case mine dies...!

Dick Brummitt at Kew actually corrected me and said it is C. pubescens, this type has also settled in parts of the USA as a weed and called "California Rose"

The trouble is with some mail order is that they have a minium order charge or charge for the freight; when my rhizomes spread I am happy to send some sterile in perlite anywhere in the world for trade purposes only, no charge.

Here's my original thread, BTW the story can be checked out about the 'Pirates Morning Glory" Apparently it also grows around a few places in China.

Colin as you are in the UK did you want any when it spreads?
