Goats can be a problem.
We had some and had to get rid of them
Also had sheep.
Want to get a few cows.

This is probably the rarest site we will ever see in our lifetime here on our bog! The sandhill crane in flight.. my only regret, I wished I had a better camera!
Well, that cuts it, now I got pests in my bog disturbing endangered species....
People dont get it. You post it KEEP OUT, you fence it and they cant read.
People are so rude they think they can go anywhere and do anything int he world that they want and then they get mad at you when you tell them NO and toss them in jail..
I come out to the bog today to shoot pix of flowers and what do I find laying right next to an endangered species that grows here.. a shotgun shell from a poacher. GOD why cant people just STAY OUT.

that is so sad.
We have the same kind of trouble here in NZ with people not staying off farmland or reserves even when the no hunting/shooting signs are clearly posted...
every so often farmers lose stock & even dogs to shooters.
Its a virus with some people. They are Sick in the head. Incompentant and then THEY run around screaming their rights are infringed on , yet they are the violators.

Well its been a wet summer. nasty storms and wet wet wet!

Well it has been a sad week at the bog today.. the water dried up and a lot of taddies never made it to frogdom. oh the frogmanity.... the s"circle in the middle of the pic is where all the taddies are... they look like gazillions of speckles in this shot.. So sad.
Well, the area of the frog kill has greened up with grass...its beautiful. Next year with rain and as the water table gets back to normal we will have more frogs.
The wild life here has been on the move.
