collecting Jacob's Ladder seeds?

Damascus, MD(Zone 7a)

This plant is very beautiful and I would like to grow more from seed. Can anybody please advise me on how to collect the seeds?

Thank you.

It's very easy to collect seeds of this plant. Just leave the flowers on the plant, they will form a seedpod. When the seedpod has turned brown, you can collect the seeds. Take of the dried stem and turn it upside down above a paper bag. You can sow the seeds immediately or you can winter sow them. Probabely you will have volunteers next year anyway if you leave a few seedpods on the plant.
I do also have a white one ( Polemonium caeruleum Filigree Clouds). Let me know if you're interested in seeds of that one.

Jonna, many thanks for the reply! For a while I didn't see any response to my post and was wondering if anybody collected seeds of this plant at all.

I will watch out for brown seeds pods and will try to grow more. The plant is upright and is still blooming. Love it!

Thank you very much for offering flower seeds. I would love to have some, but for now let me try growing them with mine. Will give you an update later.

Happy gardening.
