Just had to pass this along

I just had to pass this along. This is the lilly forum and I'm so tickled. Both my kids are on this medication made by Eli Lilly. Get it "lilly". Anyway, insurance won't cover it. Not one dime! Everyone is in agreement, they need it. So after talking with the Lilly people and they wihear how my son had almost died and bilateral implants and yada yada they get back with me. Eli Lilly will provide the medication free of charge delivered right to my front door complete with needles and syringes as long as they need it!! Let me add, the medication costs $4000.00 per month. Let me repeat Four thousand dollars per month!...and they are covering all costs. No wonder I'm jumping out of my skin.

Foregive me for posting off topic, but I couldn't resist. If I ever develop or name a new lily you can bet it will be named Eli.

That is so cool! Good for you and the kids. :)

How cool!!! My stepdad, who is gone now, used to work for Lily in Indianapolis.
I had to quit taking one of my meds because of cost ...and it wasn't any way close to that. Glad your kids will have their meds!

Wow!

A blessing indeed.

How wonderful for your family. It is nice to know there are some corporations out there with a heart. Another great "lily".

Happy for you. Corporations that make profits like they do (and they do) should give back too. I'm glad they are helping your family ;)

that is way cool we have a friend that has to take heart meds he can not afford to pay for so Eli Lilly pays for them for him I think that is a great co.
