Done, Done, Done Planting Lilies

FINIALLY!!!!! I finially finished planting all my lily bulbs that I bought this spring. I kept buying and buying and the orders kept arriving and arriving and I kept planting and planting but I could not keep up.

I felt like I should throw a party or something or at least jump up and down yelling hurray but decided the neighbors already think I am strange enough without that display.

So I now have lily bulbs interplanted in some spots in my row of blueberry shrubs. The lillies are toward the back. I honestly don't know how this is going to look but I decided to try it and had ordered the bulbs for there so no backing out now. I have lilies interplanted all around in my roses so how much different can it be with blueberries, right?

I have so many more spots planned for lilies so I will be ordering for fall planting but by then I will be ready to plant again.

Some how, I bet you end up just picking up a couple more this spring. :) LOL I can't wait till see it all in bloom!

Honestly, no more this spring. I really am done. I am looking forward to buying some for fall when Buggy Crazy updates her website.

Whenever I get the craziest for something I seem to have the complusion to buy as much as I possible can so that I have it planted and see it blooming.

Besides getting the lily crazies this year I also got the Iris crazies, especially for Siberian Iris. Already planted 36 Siberians this spring but today, seeing as how I have all my lily bulbs planted, I decided I could order some more siberian iris to get them in yet this spring. So I did. They come mail order and I hate to wait for fall as spring planted have all that extra time to grow.

So, while I was good on being done with the lily bulbs this spring (yes, I really am done) I got myself in trouble getting something else.

Between the roses, daylilies, bulb lilies, Siberian Iris and everthing else around here, the plan is to hopefully have lots and lots of bloom. I just keep adding stuff.

I hope that you have really finished! You are truly infectious. Maybe, a new form of the "flying flu" ? I just finished ordering a batch of asiatics for my cutting garden from Brent and Becky's. Lilies are like potato chips? I love my bearded iris, because I don't have to dig very deeply to plant them. LOL

Brent and Beckys half price sale starts at 12:01 AM (midnight) tonight. 50 percent off is darn good. It only lasts afew days as they said all bulb orders end Monday June 1st at midnight.

With lilies, one is never done!!!!

But I really did mean it. I was done. At least for this spring. Now, I have plans for fall buying and more plans for next spring. So the done part is just for now. I could never be done forever with adding lilies as theres so much I still NEED :-))
