Okay...I admit it. I am not "Miss Seed". I don;t typically grow anything from seed, unless I can;t locate it any other way. Then I will give it a try.
SO I have the following seeds:
1...Erythina corraloides--Bicolor Coral Tree
2...Erythina arborescens---Sunshine Coral Tree
3...Ochna serrulata---Mickey Mouse plant
4...Tropaeolum peregrinum---Canary Bird Vine
I heard the Ochna has to be extremely fresh or don;t bother...? T/F
I read that Canary Vine seeds have to be kept in the dark to germinate?
Do any of these need any special treatment like soaking, nicking etc?
Any help appreciated
Can you help me germinate these seeds?
I have only grown canary bird vine.I grew it for a couple of years. Not growing it this year.Direct sowed 1st of June.It would peak towards the end of July for me.Edge
I've germinated coral tree seeds and I nicked them, soaked them over night then put them in a wet papper towel in a plastic bag. They weren't your specific seeds but I would imagine it would work for you. Make sure they get enough heat to. Outside would be know problem this time of year.
