On This Day....
Mend a quarrel. Search out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a love letter. Share some treasure. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Manifest your loyalty in a word or deed.
Keep a promise. Make the time. Forgo a grudge. Forgive an enemy. Listen. Apologize if you were wrong. Try to understand. Flout envy. Examine your demands on others. First think of someone else. Appreciate, be kind, be gentle. Laugh a little more.
Deserve confidence. Decry complacency. Express your gratitude. Worship your God. Gladden the heart of a child. Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth. Speak your love. Speak it again. Speak it still again. Speak it still once again.

This hangs on my fridge..I read it every day...and do my best. Dee

Oh, deed... I have what I think is an original (published) copy of that piece. It is quite long, and I often send it at Christmas. It was published in a "Look" (or, maybe "Life"?) magazine in the early 60's... and of course, I don't have the magazine article anymore. I do have a full copy, though. Wish I knew to whom to attribute it. I love it, and it always speaks to me, reminding me of how we should be.

I think the original was called, "Christmas is Celebration, and Celebration is Instinct in the Heart". If I can find my copy, I will email you the whole thing.
