I am concerned...

I am concerned about what has been going on in the United
States in these last days. I do agree that terrorism is to
be stopped, but we do not want innocent people to die. Here are my concerns if the US attacks Afghanistan:

1. Those civil people have no guilt at all, however many are going to die and, which is more important, they still need to hear about the good news of the gospel.

2. I wonder what would be the natural reaction of the Muslim world. Would anyone want to know anything about Jesus? What would be their feelings towards all in the West, which includes the religion? Would that help that other Muslim countries open their doors to the Christian missionary work? These are a few questions that came to my mind.

Let´s pray for the families of the victims in New York City and Washington D.C., let´s pay for the US president so that God enable him to make the right decision and let´s pray for those Muslim´s God´s children in Afghanistan.

Muslims do know about Jesus, Jesus is a prophet in the Islam religion, the only thing they disagree with is that he is the son of God. Jesus is considered a good and wise holy man. Even Mohammed isn't proclaimed the son of God in the Islamic faith.

There are Christians and other faiths in the Islamic countries, just as there are Muslims, Hindus, Jews etc in the Western world.

The United States diplomats are currently trying to extricate a woman who is under arrest in Afghanistan for the crime of preaching Christianity. The Afghan government supports terrorists and are therefore enemies America. Sorry no excuses are acceptable!

Although, most Christians in those countries are murdered, tortured, jailed or expelled (the one's who are found out). But that's exactly what the early Christians went through. It just seems more brutal these days because most of the world doesn't kill people for their beliefs. Recent news (before the bombings) explained how the Taliban were jailing people and so on, because they said these people (aid workers) were preaching the gospel. I guess that's the thanks we get sometimes. You have to admire people who are willing to put themselves in harms way to spread the word. The Taliban also destroyed ancient Buddist monuments and statues. They have no tolerance whatsoever for anything other than their brand of Islam.

SOMETIMES TO PRAY FOR OTHERS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU SHOULD BE PRAYING,A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THAT IS I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE CHRISTIANS GETTING JAILED,THIS IS HEART BREAKING TO ME.
