CLOSED: Invaders/Impostors in my Mason Bee House

Bronson, FL(Zone 9a)

Found these bugs setting up house in my 'Mason Bee House.' They look more like wasps than bees. . .

What kind of bugs are these? Are they environmentally friendly? Do they pollinate? Should I 'OUST' them from my Mason Bee Box? Where are the Mason Bees??

Searing, Burning Questions!

i don't believe that you need to worry about this one - the wasp appears to be in the family Sphecidae; it may be considering using one of the tubes as a potential repository for a paralyzed spider or two for its young to feed upon. There are some wasps that parasitize mason bees, but they look nothing like your specimen.

Thank you - looks like you are right on :-)
