Seems we all need someone to comfort us along life's journey. Anyone want to share some one that helped carry you through events other than this week's that happened in your life?

About 6 years ago, when I was a homeless single parent. A friend (whose name happens to be Dave), gave me a job and helped me find a place to live that I could afford.
Then there's my Mom, who's bailed me out financially and emotionally more times than I recall since my marriage broke up, though I live about 3000 miles from her. ...
The list is endless.
I couldn't survive in this world without my loved ones. For a long time, I have aimed my life at gratitude, service and affection. I don't completely succeed, but am much happier than ever before. Sounds corny to some, I know. But I'm a Hoosier, so I love corn!

Oh, Eyes, there have been so many!!!... Over, and over again in my life, people and/or events have appeared to help me out in a crisis. I don't know that I can single out any one individual, but I have walked through this life knowing there was a 'Guardian Angel' on my shoulder. I'd have to say that God has been the One to carry me through all those events, via His Angels.

My big sister who died 2 yrs ago...when the phone went off at 2am I knew it was her...I often called her in the middle of the night as well. I miss her so much...boy could I use a hug right now just thinking about her. :-((

I know it's not the same, but I hope it helps! My mom's been on a camping trip with my dad for the past few weeks, and even that little bit of time without her daily calls has me really lonely for her. And I still miss talking daily with my grandma, who died in 1987 - we were very close. I can relate, sweetie. Keep your chin up and know you're not alone!
