Wuvie, very nice website...it caught one of my cats attention too (the sounds)!!!

I remember having frogs in the backyard during the summer when I was a kid...it has been years since there have been frogs in my dad's back yard...sad.

I was happy to click and am sure to take longer time browsing the site when I have more time.

heck yeah- listening to a great frog right now outside

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Earlier hubby showed me two tree frogs hiding in the folds of
the pond liner. Sure enough, it is dark and they are having one
fine conversation. It is so loud here at night!

(But we love it!)

Lawrenceville, GA(Zone 7b)

I was just sitting on the back porch listening to the frogs sing and thinking how neat it would be to sleep outside. Whew, it's hot here.

Raggedy,

Pretty muggy here, too. You know, that would be an adventure, trying
to sleep through the frogs. Once they quiet down for the early morning
we might get some sleep. ;-)

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

gosh Raggedyann- it's only the first week of May! how will you stand July? I also love to sleep out and listen to the critters

Lawrenceville, GA(Zone 7b)

The high tomorrow is 86, already! That's why I am trying to get all my weeding, etc. done now. I think I would sleep like a baby with the frogs singing to me :) I am pooped!

After all the rain here in the last 2 weeks, I had to pick up about 5 frogs who found their way through my doggy door into the house !!! Yuck, I don't want warts, and I know they pee on you when you pick them up, but I have carried these guys out of here , by hand, with their squirmy bodys, crockoing, and trying to escape, I deliver them to our pond, but OMG, what a pounding heart felt feeling ! Think about this, pick a frog up , in you hand, he's going to pee on you, and than he's squirming to get away, the whole time your wishing there was another way to get him out of your house, while you have 2 dogs yapping up your butt wanting you to drop the frog, so they can play with them, or otherwise eat them, which I won't allow to happen. the last two weeks have been the most site seeing, frog handling experience I have ever had. These frogs are using the doggy door to get in the house, and they are still singing their songs ??? No, I wouldn't hurt them, but as in another post I read, I'm not sleeping with them. LOL ( as in , oh, I could go out and sleep under the stars and listen to them all night) Well, come stay with me over night, and you'll change your mind, and I love all animals, including frogs, LOL, I would never hurt a breathing animal, or reptile, or ?? Love ya all on DG, Have a great evening Chirp,Chirp, Jami

With two large ponds and the river just below the house I just need it to be warm enough to sleep with the windows open to fall asleep to a chorus of frogs :~) I love it!

Wuvie, love the link!

I enjoyed reading all the ways you can help support the frongs and the cause on the site. The one mentioning eliminating your junk mail was great, would love to do that. I know there's a place to write or email for removing your phone number from caller lists and another one where you can have your mailing list removed....

But saw this link listed on the frogs place, wondered if anyone had signed up...

https://www.41pounds.org/signup/

Don't know how they contact all who send junk to you but man it's a nice idea! I even get neighbors who shove their annoying business cards, tupperware catalogs, avon catalogs, IN my mailbox after the mail's come, thus avoiding postage. It is very frustrating. Wish we had one of those nice locked mailbox units where everyone's mail is is one spot and only way to open your box is to have the key :)
