The pink hats are great. I bet there was a wonderful sense of camaraderie among all those hats. Well done!

Thank you Jan, feel free to smile as much as you like, I still am. And Portland, I can tell you how great the vibs of unity were. It was definately a huggy night. Tills, we did have a good good time - I have to say I was an absolute pain in the a%& to my friend. She is someone who gets really aloof when confronted with social situations - I'm not great, but this one really got to me and I wanted to join in. So as my friend kept doing her stand-offish thing I was dancing to the music and yahooing along with everyone else. Then she sorted relented and did a little rocking side to side, and a little bouncing, and then it was all let loose, bumping hips, arms in the air, joining in the singing - go girl go, got her! We had a great time.

You look almost exactly as I pictured you from your "voice". And great in pink.

I once did a chorusline kick down the streets of Poulsbo with a friend of mine(we were both over 60). Our daughters thought we were crazy. I was just happy to be out shopping with people I loved. It's good to bust out once in awhile.^_^

I'm going to steal Mother Theresa's line. I can see that it's a quick way of saying that service to others is the way to heal yourself.

I always get choked up at cooperation between people for a greater goal. Doesn't matter whether it's people at a football game showing their cards in time to the music or people pitching in to build a house for someone. THERE IS POWER IN (and salvation through) UNITY. If only we could keep that in mind on a daily basis.

Wonderful, wonderful. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

The idea of it gives me goose bumps....big ones. I've been known to hoop and holler at times, track meets come to mind, mortified my sons. Something like that I would have joined in too!

So stylish and chic and loving every step! Looks like you had loads of fun!

Katie, I know exactly what you mean - marching bands, standing still bands, group singing - when my walking chum and I saw the finish we were both in tears!!!! Why? for goodness sakes - who knows!? It was just the right thing to do!

And Willow - I'm so glad I look like my voice, but goodness, I wonder what my voice looks like - well, taller than my friend, that's for sure. I would have loved to see you do chorus line, and full marks for getting those high kicks in!

PINK PINK PINK, can hardly wait for next year (been wearing the hat in the garden all day).

Your voice is very lovely and full of humor.

Why thank you Miss willowwind - I am going to remind my husband of that the next time I am in a harrumpf!. Ohhhhh, I am all smiley and walking tall - out to garden while I can reach the high branches. Hmmm, definately going to be a good good day.
