CLOSED: BEE-LIKE BUGS MAKING HOLES IN YARD!!

I HAVE BEE-LIKE BUGS THAT MAKE HOLES IN THE GROUND. THEY ARE MORE PETITE THAN A TYPICAL BEE AND IF YOU SPRAY THIER HOLE AND THEY ARE IN THERE, THEY WILL FLY OUT AND ARE CAPABLE OF "STINGING". THEY STARTED ALONG THE SANDY PART OF THE DRIVEWAY AND HAVE SPREAD TO THE GRASS. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING TO KILL THEM. WHAT ARE THESE THINGS AND HOW DO I GET RID OF THEM!?

There are several species of ground-nesting bees in Georgia with similar habits and life cycles. The female bee digs a tunnel in the soil to lay an egg. She then provides the burrow with food for the larvae that will hatch later in the spring; the bees are active only for a few weeks. Because these bees are important native pollinators, control measures should be taken only if they are in an area frequented by small children or pets. If control is deemed necessary, 5% Sevin dust will work; as a general rule, bees are very sensitive to this pesticide. might be dirt daubber bees and dont usually harm anything


right now ever bee is needed so please consider what you are doing they are dying out
