I just wanted to show my support towards you in my usual Brotherly fashion . I have never seen you offend anyone on purpose but obviously the truth is a difficult pill for some folks to swallow . Please keep smiling , telling the truth , and being yourself . If people do not agree with your opinions all they have to do is walk on by . THAT is what tolerance is ALL ABOUT !!! ROCK ON !!!

I don't know what was said, nor do i care to know, but K'ht' has never been anything except honest, informative, helpful, and totally gracious to me and in all posts that i have seen. I feel very blessed to call her a friend

echoing everyone elses feeling here. KHT Proud to have you in my circle of friends here at the garden.

I did get to read all the threads before they vanished and I DO NOT think KHT did or said one thing wrong! I am not a very religious type person in fact I was raised catholic, but I do not attend mass and have not for several years. That is just my choice to make, just like it is Dave's choice to put the flag on HIS website. If some people would just wake up and see that this flag thing and Dave's addition to the mission statement are his choice for HIS site then maybe all the bad feelings would go away. In the past 5 days OUR country has had horrible distruction and mass murder. I for one am SICK about it, just like everone else here at DG. I guess I am just rambling but what it get's down to is everyone of us has different views and opinions on life and that is our right, but the 1 thing that everyone of us (all 3949) has in common is our love for gardening. So just try to remember life is very, very, short and live it to the fullest!!! (whatever that means to you) Oh yea KHT, DITTO!!!!!!! sue

I think I've read most of the posts in question...and I think some people would take offense by certain things that were said. It didn't bother me as much because I usually just ignore people when they are being unreasonable (from my point of view, that is). If you fire back, you'll just get into a shouting match...which usually nobody wins. I think the problem here is that a lot of people are very sensitive right now and it doesn't take much to set someone off. Certain people can be a little too abrasive at the wrong time. Having said that, I have no problem with her. You know what I wish?...I wish everyone would just keep their questionable comments to their selves for the time being. I'm not trying to be a censor. I'm just saying that right now, especially now, people can be hurt more easily by what you say. Why not take that into consideration? This whole thing just frustrates me. I come here to look at gardening info...not to get into a childish bickering match with someone I really don't know. Maybe I've always just been very careful about what I say to people...or what I say around people. I have extremely strong opinions about a lot of things, but I keep them to myself unless I know I'm talking to someone who agrees, or someone who can handle it...and one on one, not an open forum like this. I sometimes go out of my way not to offend people. But believe me, I could tick off plenty of people on here very quick if I were to say what I really feel sometimes. Moral of the story is this: If you think what you have to say will most likely be offensive or upset to someone (and that could mean simple differences in politcal leanings), then why not take the high road and keep it to yourself...or maybe do it in private, through email? Or, I guess you can go ahead and slam me right here and now in front of everyone. It wouldn't bother me. I'm great at ignoring people ;) Just to satisfy the curious, I lean to the right...in fact, I might fall off if I don't hang on tight enough..LOL

I have e-mailed here several times these last few days. Telling her I am here to listen to her side. That we need her, that she has been a good freind to us. To forgive what she may feel is unjust. I hope we do not lose,her. I may have more conservative views than her. But I can see beyond that. I too hope she does come back.
I am so saddened to see I am losing so many freinds these last few horrible days. It has been so hard, my heart is so heavy. Maybe this is a test, of some kind Karma, of your own tolerance, for those you do not agree with. We have more in common than you think.Dont go away, come back.(((((Karma))))) I miss you.
