Thanks for posting a flag for us....

London, ON(Zone 5b)

The flag looks wonderful on here. I noticed it right away a day or so ago (can't remember which day I first noticed it)I am proud to say that I am a neighbour.

Is there anyway we could have a Canadian one as well in respect for the Canadians who have been severely touched by this terrible tragedy? I know I have mentioned it in another thread but just in case you don't see the request I asked again here.....

Thanks
Brenda

Thank You for the flag Dave. We all needed it right now.
Brenda: England, Germany and Japan all lost people in the towers too. I think we may find a lot of nations lost citizens in this horrible incident.

Point Pleasant Beach, NJ(Zone 7a)

Yes many people from many different places were lost. Afganastan (pardon the spelling), Ireland, Japan, China, Australia, everywhere I think had a few people there. Amazing how many different people these two towers had inside. And how many different people were in those planes, and the pentagon.
I wonder is there a flag out there that has all of the nations flags?
I do love the flag, though I miss it being right up at the top of the page. One must do what one must though. And I happy to see the little one down below!!

I realize that there were many people from different countries that died that day. I was beginning to wonder if anyone else did as well.

I thought that since there are many Canadians on this site that it would be just a show of respect! What about the UN flag instead of just the American one?

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Brenda, sorry but I disagree with you. Now is not the time.

I am a New Zealander, and we lost a kiwi in one of the planes. All the world has lost someone here, the world is mourning. But the blow was struck at the heart of the free world and that is on American soil. I support the flying of the American flag, wherever and whenever and for as long as is needed, to give comfort to those who need it so desperately now and in the future.

Perhaps we do need a flag to unite us all. One of the developments from this terrible tragedy I am praying for is a real step forward in the unification of the free world. We can all use the strength of purpose and support such a unity would bring. But that is in the future. Just now, we need to support our friends under the Stars and Stripes...

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

amazing how something so cruel is the thing that's pulling most of the world together.

I like the flag too Dave and want to thank you again for keeping the chat room open after the horrific tragedy. I'm so glad that you somehow knew we needed to talk with each other and "hear" each others voices. God Bless - vic
