Please advise how to obtain the seeds for planting from a Sausage tree fruit? I have various fruits but don't know how to get the seeds out of them for planting. Thank you.

Sausage Tree
Oshiwambo name:
Scientificname:
Family:
Omuhaka
Kigelia africana
Bignoniaceae
Propagation
Sound seeds germinate well, and should preferably be sown
in September when still fresh. To obtain the seeds the fruit
should be dried and pound. Place the seeds in seedling trays
filled with coarse sand. Press the seed into the sand until the
tip is level with the sand and cover with sand or compost and
keep moist. The seeds will usually germinate after 10 - 25
days. The sausage tree can also be propagated by cuttings.
Seed collection period
Seeds should be collected from the trees between March and
September.
Storage
Sow as soon as possible after harvest. The seeds are viable
only a few weeks, and should be stored in a cool and dry
place. The seeds are attacked by a variety of insects that make
small holes and spoil the viability.
Seed treatment
None
Tree management
Young plants are very sensitive to the slightest frost. When
transplanted it should be planted into good compost in a large
and deep hole. Lots of mulch is recommended in order to
decrease water loss. It needs a lot of water initially, but later
fortnightly watering is sufficient.
