Maybe nursery pots or rigid boxes- I'm thinking you'll want to keep as much soil attached as possible since they're growing. They may be too big to squeeze into zip locks, and I wouldn't want to disturb the roots any more than you have to. Just make sure they're moist and stay shaded till they're re-planted. If you had your holes dug at the new house already, that may help.

I'm just potting everything up. That way I know I'll have time to get them in the ground and not lose my mind in the process. Its also letting me dig a few at a time rather than the whole garden at once. The named ones have priority, then the bulk ones I psgot at coop s etc will be dug after they bloom, that way I'll only t lake the ones I really, really like.

when I moved I used doubled shopping bags the plastic ones and then I put six in each box they stayed that way for a week and still bloomed all summer so I think that is the best way I tied the tags to the bag handles so I knew what was what and the colors so I would know where to plant them

When I moved my garden in a day (with much help from DG friends) the whole shovel-full of plant/soil went in a plastic grocery bag along with the plant marker.

Perhaps when you move your lilies you could gather up the excess bag just above the soil level and gently tie or tape around the stem. Then I'd pack them standing up in a box so they won't have too much 'wiggle room'.
