What is an LA Lily verses an Asiatic? Thanks BEV

(Phyllis) Osceola, PA(Zone 5b)

Introduced in 1992, L.A. hybrids are a cross between longiflorum lilies and Asiatic hybrids. The longiflorum traits produce more of a trumpet shape and provide a longer vase life. The Asiatic traits are responsible for the warmer flower colors and the upright calyx, which causes the flower heads to face upward.

Don't we all...LOL
I'm turning into a HEMAHOLIC....
But i'm getting some hosta's for blackberry and raspberry bushes..
Was finally told hosta's grow good in shade..Finally I might have found something other then ditch lilies
that don't mind living under pine trees...we'll see
my poor babies we're in the full sun...
I put them out front under some sorry looking weeping willows in part shade and they look happier..
