I had two different OT's turn to mush,Silk Road and (FF's) Madame Butterfly, that were in pots. They were kept in my unheated garage over the winter. I was wondering if anybody else has had potted OT's not make the winter? I also have 4 large wood planters filled with OT's that haven't sprouted yet, so I am starting to wonder if they met their doom...
Wintering OT's in pots
Could you have possibly over watered them? I have overwintered OT's in pots in my unheated garage before with no problems.
I have just done seeds, and I wrap a blanket snugly around them to keep too much winter chill away from them, but enough to give them their cold period. I'd dig around that second pot a bit and see if you notice anything.
