Two bugs to be identified

This is a colourful bug found this morning on a hibiscus leaf.

Curious bug. Tip of antenna to tip of tail was about 5 inches. Looked lazy in the morning. Look at the close up shot on the left for tip of leg, chewing instrument and eyes.

Dinu, the first one is a Beetle in the family Scarabaeidae, but I cannot get any closer than that.

The second one looks a bit like a Mayfly (Ephemoptera) but I am far from certain of that,

The one on the right is an orthopteroid insect in the family Tettigoniidae. Collectively known as long-horned grasshoppers, the family also includes katydids and their relatives. Unlike the familiar green (and sometimes pink!) North American katydids, many tropical species are cryptically colored in grays and browns.

The antennae do look just like a cricket.
