Woke up yesterday to a cloudy drizzle which eventually faded and we were left with another hot and very humid afternoon. I had to dash out if the house early (before 8am) to get to the lab so the vampires could get some of my blood. Going early like that was great because the morning traffic had passed but there was no wait at the clinic, it was in and out.
I didnt do much of anything else all day, was a little down in the dumps, spent time on the phone making arrangements for various things..thats just time consuming and at times very annoying, but it all got done. DH and I went to IHOP for dinner, it was good and I didnt have to cook it. What a day, huh?
While reading some gardening stuff in the paper yesterday, I read that one should not plant melons and squash close together because of the possibilities that they might cross pollinate and the crops would turn out bitter..does anyone have any experience with that? I never heard of that before but if its true, I will have to move my watermelon plants. It wont be hard to do now because they are still small.
