I have been reading on this forum for a few years, and I don't remember this subject getting talked to death. So here is the question.
How old is the oldest known, living or dead I. carnea. Is it a perrenial, bienniel or what????

Ipomoea carnea is a perennial.
I'm not aware of any specific documentation on the longevity of Ipomoea carnea although I have seen photos of specimens having a lower main stem girth of over 15 inches...
